Dan has worked across three states and in the UK during his 30 years in the sports industry. Dan’s experience includes recreation planning, major event planning and event/ venue operations, sport and recreation development and sports turf management in both government and private environments.

Dan’s work history has involved sports turf management at both local turf environments as well as internationally renowned sporting facilities, planning and overseeing the venue operations and event client relations at the State Netball Hockey Centre in Melbourne, being part of the planning and implementation team for the 2004 Track Cycling World Championships and the 2006 Commonwealth Games (Public Domain planning), local government recreation planning and sport and recreation planning consulting. Dan has coached, umpired, and coordinated local junior sport in Hobart for more than 10 years and continues to volunteer to support junior sport.
