insideEDGE Master Plan projects receive significant funding

insideEDGE has been privileged to partner with a number of Local Government Authorities in the development of master plans to guide strategic investment into sport and recreation infrastructure. Recently, a number of these master planning projects have received significant funding for their delivery through local, state and federal sources. insideEDGE delivers master plans that are underpinned by robust consultation processes and evidence-based recommendations that are realistic and achievable.

We are very proud to see a number of these plans come to life and look forward to monitoring their success into the future.

Goolwa Oval Sporting Precicnt Master Plan

The Master Plan reflects a long-term vision for the site, responding to the needs of both the site users and the community. The Master Plan has been developed to provide actions that are practical and realistic and considers the financial responsibilities and capacity of the Council and other key stakeholders.

In summary, the Goolwa Oval Precinct Master Plan proposes to provide:

  • a new centralised multi-purpose community sporting facility that caters to all site users and includes unisex change rooms, community social spaces, player and spectator amenities, storage, and more.

This upgrade will see the construction of a new accessible sports pavilion — with four female-friendly change rooms — as well as a car park upgrade. It will also include a sports ground reconfiguration with a multi-purpose training area, path network, and new lighting. The project will have a big impact on softball, soccer and rugby league which are played at the park, and it will make sport and recreation more accessible for the community.
