Kelly Harding is a dedicated professional in the sport, leisure, and open space industry with over 15 years of experience at both a state and local government level in South Australia and leads insideEDGE’s South Australian office, providing the trademark insideEDGE quality and innovation to the South Australian government, sport, recreation and community sectors.

For the past 5 years, Kelly has been managing insideEDGE’s South Australian office and has delivered over 50 projects for a range of stakeholders including State and Local Government, State Sporting Organisation, Education sector and local community groups and private organisations.

Before coming to insideEDGE Kelly managed the Active Communities Team at the City of Holdfast Bay in Adelaide. In this role she was responsible for a large portfolio including Sport, Recreation, Open Space, Club Development, Volunteers, Social Planning and Community Development, Community Centres, Youth, Arts and Culture.

During this time Kelly initiated and managed a number of large projects including the planning and construction of the new $15 million Kauri Parade Community and Sports Facility, development of master plans for the Brighton Oval and Glenelg Oval Precincts and open space and playground developments including the Glenelg Foreshore Playspace. Her role also focused on undertaking community consultation, grant funding management, the delivery of Council’s Community Pillar within its strategic plan, stakeholder management, project management, staff and financial management and strategic advice on council’s properties and leases.

Kelly’s extensive experience in community consultation, open space, sport and recreation planning combined with her work on many sport, recreation, and community and volunteer advisory groups and committees provides her with a well-rounded approach to the industry, which is topped with both state and local government knowledge. Supporting this is her 6 years she spent on the Parks and Leisure SA/NT board.
