Over the next six years, the AFL will work to increase its understanding of facility needs across Australia. The AFL National Audit Program will see the AFL build a facility database through insideEDGE’s Sports Facility Auditor Program (SFA).
SFA provides onsite auditing capability and we will be training AFL staff across the country to use the program and collect facility information to drive State and Territory facility and regional strategies.
By highlighting infrastructure gaps, SFA will provide the AFL with a true understanding of facility investment requirements to meet current and future demand. Audit information will be overlaid with AFL participation and demographic segments to support this planning. We are proud to be partnering with the AFL in this exciting project that ultimately ensures clubs and leagues will have facilities that meet the needs of the communities they represent.
